Domingo Antonio Acevedo (born March 6, 1994) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). Listed at and , he throws and bats right-handed. For a few hours on July 21, 2018, Acevedo was on the 2018 New York Yankees season, Yankees’ active roster, but did not appear in a game, earning him the distinction of being a “phantom ballplayer”, a distinction which he held until his MLB debut in 2021. The Florida Complex League Yankees are a Rookie-level affiliate of the New York Yankees, competing in the Florida Complex League of Minor League Baseball. The team is composed mainly of players who are in their first year of professional baseball either as selections from the Major League Baseball draft or as non-drafted free agents. Isiah Kiner-Falefa (born March 23, 1995), often abbreviated as IKF, is an American professional baseball shortstop for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played in MLB for the Texas Rangers (baseball), Texas Rangers from 2018 to 2021. Kiner-Falefa was born in raised in Hawaii where he attended Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu.
