Ahonoora
Ahonoora (1975–1989) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. In a career that lasted from 1977 to 1979 he ran sixteen times and won seven races. Ahonoora was a sprinter who specialised in races over five and six furlongs, with his most important wins coming in the Stewards's Cup at Goodwood and the Group Two William Hill Sprint Championship (now a Group One race) at York. He is primarily notable for his achievements at stud, where his progeny, including Dr Devious, Park Express and Indian Ridge, made him one of the most significant modern representatives of the Byerley Turk sire line. Indian Haven (21 February 2000 – 11 July 2023) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and sire best known for his win in the 2003 running of the Irish 2,000 Guineas. After winning a minor race on his debut, he was well-beaten in better company on his three remaining starts and appeared to be some way behind the best of his generation. In the spring of 2003 he showed improved form, taking the European Free Handicap and coming back after an unlucky run in the 2000 Guineas to win the Irish equivalent. He was never able to reproduce his classic-winning form and was well beaten in five subsequent races. After his retirement from racing, he stood as a breeding stallion in Ireland and the United Kingdom. The Breeders' Cup Mile is a Grade 1 Weight for Age stakes race for thoroughbred racehorses three years old and up, run on a grass course. It has been conducted annually as part of the Breeders' Cup World Championships since the event's inception in 1984. All Breeders' Cups to date have been held in the United States except for the 1996 event in Canada. The purse was raised from $1.5 million US to $2 million in 2007. Freddy Head has won this race twice as a jockey and three times as a trainer. Relaxed Gesture (foaled March 12, 2001 in Ireland) was a thoroughbred racehorse known for winning the $2 million Canadian International Stakes in 2005. A chestnut stallion, he was bred and raced by Walter Haefner's Moyglare Stud Farm. Indian Ridge
Indian Ridge (22 March 1985 – 17 October 2006) was an Irish-bred British Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. He showed promising but unexceptional form as a two-year-old in 1987 when he won twice from four starts in minor races. He established himself as a high-class performer by winning the Jersey Stakes on his three-year-old debut but was well beaten in his three remaining race that year. He reached his peak when dropped to sprint distances in the spring and early summer of 1989, winning the Duke of York Stakes before taking the King's Stand Stakes on his penultimate appearance. After his retirement from racing he was retired to stud and became a very successful breeding stallion.
