Zamfir Constantin Arbore (; born Zamfir Ralli, russian: Земфирий Константинович Арборе-Ралли, ''Zemfiriyi Konstantinovich Arborye-Ralli''; also known as Zamfir Arbure, Zamfir Rally, Zemphiri Ralli and Aivaza;Felea (1971), p.9 November 14, 1848 – April 2 or April 3, 1933) was a Bukovinian-born Romanian political activist originally active in the Russian Empire, also known for his work as an amateur historian, geographer and ethnographer. Strășeni District
Strășeni () is an administrative district () in the central part of Moldova. Its administrative center and leading city is Strășeni. As of 1 January 2011, its population was 91,100. The other principal town is Bucovăț, to the north of the Moldovan capital. Otherwise the district is divided between rural communities. History The present territory of the district is inhabited since the Stone Age, 30–20.000 BC. Localities with the oldest historical attestation are Căpriana, Dolna, Lozova and Vorniceni, they are first attested in 1420. Căpriana monastery in 1429 received the status of the monastery. Codru (plural form: ''codri''; en, forests or woods) is the name of the forests that grow in the hilly part of central Moldova. The Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic ( ro, Republica Sovietică Socialistă Moldovenească, Moldovan Cyrillic: ) was one of the 15 republics of the Soviet Union which existed from 1940 to 1991. Ralli Family Mansion
The Mansion of Ralli family is a former boyar residence from the early 19th century, built by the wealthy Greek nobleman Zamfirache Ralli in the village of Dolna, in the Bessarabia region (nowadays located in the Strășeni district of the Republic of Moldova). This place is particularly renowned for being frequently visited by the famous Russian poet Alexander Pushkin during his exile in Chișinău from 1821 to 1823.
