Doctor Who (season 10)
The tenth season of British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'' began on 30 December 1972 with the tenth anniversary special '' The Three Doctors'', and ended with Katy Manning's final serial ''The Green Death''. This is the Third Doctor's (played by Jon Pertwee) fourth series, as well as fourth for producer Barry Letts and script editor Terrance Dicks. Jon Pertwee
John Devon Roland "Jon" Pertwee (; 7 July 1919 – 20 May 1996) was an English actor, comedian, entertainer, cabaret performer and TV presenter. Born into a theatrical family, he served in the Royal Navy and the Naval Intelligence Division during the Second World War. Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart
Brigadier Sir Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, generally referred to simply as the Brigadier, is a fictional character in the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', created by writers Mervyn Haisman and Henry Lincoln and played by Nicholas Courtney. He is one of the founders of UNIT (United Nations Intelligence Taskforce, later Unified Intelligence Taskforce), an international organisation that defends Earth from alien threats, and serves as commander of the British contingent. Presented at first as reluctant to accept the continuing aid of the Doctor, over time the Brigadier became one of the Doctor's greatest friends and his principal ally in defending Earth. Omega is a fictional character created by Bob Baker (scriptwriter), Bob Baker and Dave Martin (screenwriter), Dave Martin for the British science fiction on television, science fiction television series, ''Doctor Who''. In the context of the series, Omega is known as one of the founders of the Time Lords of the planet Gallifrey, and is a revered figure in Time Lord history together with the equally legendary Rassilon; the Third Doctor refers to him as the Time Lords' "greatest hero". David Ralph Martin (1 January 1935 – 30 March 2007) was an English television and film writer. He was born in Handsworth, Birmingham, England, and attended Handsworth Grammar School. Bob Baker (scriptwriter)
Robert John Baker (26 July 1939 – 3 November 2021) was a British television and film writer. He was best known for working on the original run of ''Doctor Who'', and for being a co-writer of the Wallace and Gromit films ''The Wrong Trousers'', ''A Close Shave'', '' Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit'' and ''A Matter of Loaf and Death'' (in which the character Baker Bob is named after him). Career Baker and Dave Martin began writing for Harlech Television (HTV), the local ITV franchise. One of their earliest works was Thick As Thieves starring Leonard Rossiter. Baker wrote for ''Doctor Who'' between 1971 and 1979.
