Docmo
Docmo or Damot is a town in Werder Zone of the Somali Region in Ethiopia. The exact district or woreda of Docmo is ''Bookh'' also called ''Boh''. The locality is often incorrectly transliterated in various ways, including ''Damot'' by Europeans, or as ''Domo'' or ''Domco'' by the Somalis. Docmo is adjacent to the nearby locality of Las Suban, which is slightly north. It is located a few miles southwest of the border of Dharkeyn Genyo. The first stand-off between the main Darwiish army and the British army occurred in June 1901 in the town of Domco after the Darwiish army retreated from Baran in Sool province, formerly known as Nugaal Nugaal is an intermittent river that runs along the Nugaal Valley. Werder Zone
Dollo ( so, Doollo) is one of the nine zones in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. It was previously known as Warder/Werder, so named after its largest city, Warder. Dollo is bordered on the southwest by Korahe, on the northwest by Jarar, on the northeast by Somaliland and on the southeast by Somalia. The Provisional Administrative Line defines the southeast border with Somalia. Demographics Based on the 2007 Census conducted by the Central Statistical Agency of Ethiopia (CSA), this Zone has a total population of 306,488, of whom 175,624 are men and 130,864 women. While 28,784 or 9.39% are urban inhabitants, a further 113,408 or 37% were pastoralists. Baran ( so, Baaraan) is a village in the Sool region of Somaliland/Somalia. Sool, Somalia
Sool ( so, Sool, ar, صول) is an administrative region ('' gobol'') in south eastern Somaliland/north western Somalia. It borders Togdheer to the west, Sanaag to the north, Ethiopia to the south and Nugal, Bari to the east. Its capital city is Las Anod. The region is disputed by the self-declared Republic of Somaliland and Puntland, a Federal Member State of Somalia. The region is partially controlled by both polities. Territorial dispute Sool is disputed by Somaliland and Puntland. The former basis its claim on the British Somaliland protectorate borders, and the later on the territory inhabited by the Harti clan that established the state in 1998. Nugaal is an intermittent river that runs along the Nugaal Valley. It begins several miles to the west of Sool, and ends at Eyl where the outlet flows into the Indian Ocean.
