is a greatest hits album by Japanese singer/songwriter Chisato Moritaka, released on March 25, 1995. The album marked Moritaka's return to active touring after being sidelined with a temporomandibular joint dysfunction for two years. It covers her singles from 1990 to 1995 and includes the new song "Kyō kara". A limited edition release included a 60-page photo book. The album was released on MiniDisc by zetima on December 23, 1998. The album peaked at No. 2 on Oricon's albums chart and sold over 1.34 million copies. It also placed at No. 10 on Oricon's 1995 year-ending albums chart. In addition, it was Moritaka's first and only album to be certified Million and Triple Platinum by the RIAJ. is a rockabilly song by Japanese singer/songwriter Chisato Moritaka, from her 1992 studio album '' Pepperland''. Written by Moritaka, the song was released as the B-side of her 1993 single " Watashi no Natsu". Background The song's lyrics consist of Japan's prefectures and their capitals, as well as their respective dishes. It popularized the dishes shimotsukare and shiroshita karei, which were not well-known nationwide prior to the release of the song. At the time of the song's recording, Urawa was the capital of Saitama Prefecture; in 2001, Urawa, Ōmiya, and Yono merged into the new capital of Saitama City. Moritaka's live performances and cover versions of the song have since corrected the line from "Urawa" to "Saitama" to reflect the capital change. Rhodes Piano
The Rhodes piano (also known as the Fender Rhodes piano) is an electric piano invented by Harold Rhodes, which became popular in the 1970s. Like a conventional piano, the Rhodes generates sound with keys and hammers, but instead of strings, the hammers strike thin metal tines, which vibrate next to an electromagnetic pickup. The signal is then sent through a cable to an external keyboard amplifier and speaker. The instrument evolved from Rhodes's attempt to manufacture pianos while teaching recovering soldiers during World War II. Development continued after the war and into the following decade. Kenichi Kurosawa
was a Japanese musician and record producer from Hitachi, Ibaraki. His younger brother is Hideki Kurosawa, who is also a musician. Biography In a contest participating in an amateur band during his school days, a special prize was given from Tetsuya Komuro (later became LR's "(I Wanna) Be With You"). That song began as an opportunity, and later debuted as a composer at the age of nineteen. He provided songs to Yoko Minamino and Nami Shimada. About 1990, his demonstration tapes (which later became LR's "(I Wanna) Be With You") which he personally made were stopped by ears of record producer Daiji Okai (part of Yonin Bayashi, whom were disbanded at the time) and was acquainted, later introduced to Kenichi Makimura who was a producer of Polystar Records at that time, and had an opportunity debuted to debut as LR. The single was released by Warner Music Japan on April 10, 1993. The song was used by All Nippon Airways for their "ANA Okinawa" campaign. Moritaka performed the song on the 44th ''Kōhaku Uta Gassen''. Music video The music video and commercial were set in the beaches of Okinawa, with additional scenes of Moritaka singing on a blue screen background displaying the sky, the beach, and a collage of her photos. ANA's campaign sparked controversy when University of the Ryukyus professor Kei Kohana noticed that the sky depicted in the commercial was too blue for an Okinawan summer.
