Do It (EP)
''Do It'' is the first EP after the first full-length album '' Life Time'' from Rollins Band, fronted by ex- Black Flag singer Henry Rollins. ''Do It'' was originally released in 1987 and included three studio recordings (1–3) and 6 live tracks recorded in Deventer, Netherlands October 22, 1987 (5–10). The three studio tracks are Pink Fairies, Velvet Underground and Louis Prima & Sam Butera covers, produced by Ian MacKaye, well known in the genre of hardcore punk for his work with Minor Threat and as co-owner of the Dischord record label. The record was subsequently re-mastered and re-released in 2007 with additional live tracks from the Fall 1987 Tour. These include the addition of the introductory track titled "Joe Is Everything, Everything Is Joe" (which refers to Rollins' roommate Joe Cole, who was murdered in 1991 when they were victims of an armed robbery), two live tracks from Kortrijk, Belgium (11–12), two live tracks from London, England (13–14) and the final ... Live Album

Sam Butera
Sam Butera (August 17, 1927 – June 3, 2009) was an American tenor saxophonist and singer-songwriter best noted for his collaborations with Louis Prima and Keely Smith. Butera is frequently regarded as a crossover artist who performed with equal ease in both R&B and the post-big band pop style of jazz that permeated the early Vegas nightclub scene. Biography Butera was born and raised in an Italian-American family in New Orleans, where his father, Joe, ran a butcher shop and played guitar in his spare time. He heard the saxophone for the first time at a wedding when he was seven years old, and, with his father's encouragement, he began to play. Andrew Weiss (musician)
Andrew Weiss is an American musician, composer, audio engineer and record producer. Life and career Born in Chicago, Weiss spent most of his youth growing up in central New Jersey where he later started playing bass with local bands while attending Princeton High School. In 1982 he teamed up with William Tucker (guitar) and high school buddy Sim Cain (drums) to form Regressive Aid, an instrumental new wave band that released a 4-song EP in 1983 and a 6-song LP the following year. Around this time, Weiss began his experimentations with electronic music and recording. This led to a collaboration with his friend Jeff Rusnack, partnersinWonder, and together they founded Bird'o'Pray Records, a cassette only label that featured electronic and alternative music, including the first releases by the New Hope, Pa. duo Ween. Chris Haskett
Chris Haskett (born 1962) is an American guitarist. He was a member of the Rollins Band from 1986 to 1997 and again for the band's reunion in 2006. He has also recorded or performed with David Bowie, Foetus, Pigface, The Cassandra Complex, Tool, The Joy Thieves, and others. Biography Haskett was born in Washington, D.C. He spent 1976–1977 in the UK where he was greatly inspired by the birth of the UK punk scene. Soon after his return to the US he was recruited into seminal D.C. band The Enzymes. Heavily inspired by such diverse influences as Sun Ra, The Art Ensemble of Chicago, The Damned and Captain Beefheart, the band existed at the fringes of what would eventually turn into Washington, D.C. hardcore. After the appearance of the Bad Brains on the scene, the band became moved to a more conventionally punk and reggae repertoire. The Enzymes recorded a number of sessions but never released any. The El Mocambo is a live music and entertainment venue in Toronto, Ontario. Murder Of Joe Cole
Joseph Dennis Cole (April 10, 1961 – December 19, 1991) was an American actor, writer and roadie for Black Flag and Rollins Band, who was shot and killed in an armed robbery on December 19, 1991. Early life Cole was the son of actor Dennis Cole by his first wife, Sally Bergeron. Cole also worked as a roadie for the band Hole, filming the group's 1991 tour performances, and appeared in several films including Raymond Pettibon's ''The Book of Manson'', where he also has a cinematography credit. Death Cole and lifelong best friend Henry Rollins were assaulted by armed robbers in December 1991 outside their shared Venice Beach, California, home at 809 Brooks Avenue in the Oakwood district. Dischord Records is a Washington, D.C.-based independent record label specializing in punk rock.
