Dni, Których Nie Znamy
"Dni, których nie znamy" (from Polish language, Polish: ''Days, that we don't know yet'') is a Polish language song written by Marek Grechuta and composed by Jan Kanty Pawluśkiewicz. The song was published in 1971 on the album ''Korowód (album), Korowód'' made by the Grechuta together with Anawa, an instrumental band. In popular culture The song has become one of the most popular entertainment songs written in Polish. It was covered by many artists including: Michał Bajor, Kr'shna Brothers, Mezo, Meza, Anna Treter, Plateau (Polish band), Plateau, Kamil Bednarek, duets of Grzegorz Turnau and Dorota Miśkiewicz and Maryla Rodowicz and Piotr Kupicha. It is commonly regarded among the fans of Korona Kielce football club as its unofficial anthem. The song was used in the ending credits of the 2000 movie ''Boys Don't Cry (2000 film), Boys Don't Cry''. Marek Grechuta
Marek Michał Grechuta (10 December 1945 – 9 October 2006) was a Polish singer, songwriter, composer, and lyricist. Early life Grechuta was born on 10 December 1945 in Zamość, Poland. He studied architecture at Tadeusz Kościuszko University of Technology in Kraków. Career While studying at university, he met the composer Jan Kanty Pawluśkiewicz. Together, they founded the student cabaret Anawa, in 1967. In the same year, Grechuta was placed second in the VI National Contest of Student Musicians (''VI Ogólnopolski Konkurs Piosenkarzy Studenckich'') and received an award for the album "Tango Anawa", with lyrics by him and music by Jan Kanty Pawluśkiewicz. In 1968, he won several awards at the Festival of Polish Music in Opole. In 1969, Grechuta played a minor role in Andrzej Wajda's film '' Hunting Flies''.
