Dmytro Valeriyovych Mikhay ( uk, Дмитро Валерійович Міхай; born 27 February 1990) is a Ukrainian rower. He won the gold medal in the quadruple sculls at the 2014 World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam, with what is still a world's fastest time as of September 2018. He competed in the double sculls at the 2012 Summer Olympics with Artem Morozov. Demitro Wasyl "Dick" Michayluk (December 23, 1911 – January 2, 1990) was an educator and political figure in Saskatchewan. He represented Redberry from 1960 to 1975 in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as a Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) and then New Democratic Party (NDP) member. He was born in Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan, the son of Wasyl Michayluk and Dora Boytzun, both immigrants from western Ukraine, and grew up on the nearby family farm. Michayluk was educated in Krydor and at the Moose Jaw Normal School. He taught school for 37 years, mainly in the Blaine Lake area. In 1940, Michayluk married Mary Solodiuk. Dmytro Levytsky ( uk, Дмитро́ Леви́цький, pl, Dymitr Lewicki) (1877–1942) was a lawyer and major political figure in western Ukraine between the two world wars. Between 1925 and 1935 he headed the Ukrainian National Democratic Alliance, the largest Ukrainian political party in western Ukraine, and served as the chief of the Ukrainian delegation within the Polish parliament.
