Dmitry Khvostov (basketball)
Dmitry Grigoryevich Khvostov (Russian language, Russian: Дми́трий Григорьевич Хвосто́в; born August 21, 1989) is a Russian professional basketball player for BC Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod of the VTB United League. He was part of Russia's bronze medal winning team at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He is 1.90 m in height and 86 kg in weight. Professional career Khvostov was named the Russian Gold Basket awards, Best Russian Young Player in 2009. In 2012, he won the EuroCup Basketball, EuroCup championship with BC Khimki, Khimki Moscow Region. On June 26, 2019, Khvostov signed a three-year contract with BC Zenit Saint Petersburg, Zenit Saint Petersburg of the VTB United League. BC Khimki
BC Khimki (russian: БК Химки) is a Russian professional basketball team that is based in Khimki, Moscow Oblast. The club's senior men's first team participates in the Russian Basketball Super League 1. The club's full official name is BC Khimki Moscow Region. Khimki has a Moscow-based rivalry with the Russian club CSKA Moscow.
