Dmitri Kombarov
Dmitri Vladimirovich Kombarov ( rus, Дми́трий Влади́мирович Комба́ров, p=ˈdmʲitrʲɪj vlɐˈdʲimʲɪrəvʲɪtɕ kɐmˈbarəf; born 22 January 1987) is a Russian football coach and a former player who played as a left midfielder or a left back. He is the manager of Zvezda St. Petersburg. He is an identical twin brother of Kirill Kombarov. Known for his technical skills and pace, he played as an attack minded left back. Career Dynamo Moscow Dmitri started playing football at the age of 4. In 1993, Dmitri and his twin brother Kirill joined the Spartak Moscow football academy. After a conflict with the school coaches, the brothers left Spartak and joined the Dynamo Moscow academy. FC Spartak Moscow (russian: Футбольный клуб «Спартак» Москва, Futbolʹnyy klub «Spartak» Moskva, ) is a Russian professional football club based in Moscow. The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2012 or simply Euro 2012, was the 14th European Championship for men's national football teams organised by UEFA. The final tournament, held between 8 June and 1 July 2012, was co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine (both first time hosts), and was won by Spain, who beat Italy 4–0 in the final at the Olympic Stadium, Kyiv, Ukraine. The UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying Group G was one of the nine groups to decide which teams would qualify for the UEFA Euro 2016 finals tournament. Group G consisted of six teams: Russia, Sweden, Austria, Montenegro, Moldova, and Liechtenstein, where they played against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. The top two teams, Austria and Russia, qualified directly for the finals. As third-placed Sweden weren't the highest-ranked among all third-placed teams, they advanced to the play-offs, where they won against Denmark and thus qualified as well. Khimki ( rus, Химки, p=ˈxʲimkʲɪ) is a city in Moscow Oblast, Russia, 18.25 kilometres northwest of central Moscow, and immediately beyond the Moscow city boundary. History Origins and formation Khimki was initially a railway station that existed since 1850 on the Moscow – Saint Petersburg Railway. The Moskva-Volga Canal was constructed between 1932 and 1937 on which Khimki lies on the west bank. Khimki was then officially founded in 1939. Khimki in the Battle of Moscow The German attack starting the Battle of Moscow (code-named ‘Operation Typhoon’) began on 2 October 1941. Arena Khimki (russian: «Арена Химки») is a football stadium in Khimki, Russia. Located 300 metres north of the MKAD highway, it lies on the Moscow Oblast side of the border with Moscow. It is the home stadium of FC Khimki. History The stadium holds 18,636 spectators and was opened in 2008 to become the home stadium of FC Khimki. Since 2009 Dynamo Moscow have also been playing at the Arena Khimki as their home, Dynamo Stadium, has been undergoing reconstruction. Kuban Stadium (russian: «Кубань») is a multi-purpose stadium in Krasnodar, Russia. The Liechtenstein national football team (german: Liechtensteinische Fussballnationalmannschaft) is the national football team of the Principality of Liechtenstein and is controlled by the Liechtenstein Football Association.
