Djay Brawner
Djay Brawner (born June 21, 1981) is an American director of music videos, film, and television. Career In 2000, after taking film classes at De Anza College, he moved Orange, California to begin his education at Chapman University's film school. While studying there, he produced and directed a number of films and soon after went on to become a director Generator, a music video production company started by Derek Dale. During that time he filmed a number of upcoming bands, many of which have been featured on MTV, MTV2, and Fuse. His first commissioned music video was for Emery in 2004. DJay Brawner has directed videos for Danny Ocean, 3Oh!3, Melanie Martinez, Halestorm, Panic! At The Disco, Beartooth, William Beckett. among others. From 2005 to 2006, Brawner created, directed, and produced 26 episodes of a magazine style television show called ''Noise Link''. Djay (software)
djay is a digital music mixing software program for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch created by the German company algoriddim. It allows playback and mixing of digital audio files with a user interface that tries to simulate the concept of "two turntables and a microphone" on a computer. Before the commercial release in November 2007, djay had initially been released as freeware in June 2006. In December 2010 the software was also released for the iPad, and subsequently for iPhone and iPod Touch in March 2011. Its interface consists of two turntables, a mixer and a music library showing songs and playlists from iTunes. It no longer supports Spotify integration. djay for iPad received an Apple Design Award in 2011. Features iTunes integration djay's iTunes integration allows the user to mix songs directly from the iTunes library. Henson, Paula Jai Parker, Elise Neal, DJ Qualls and Ludacris. ''Hustle & Flow'' was released in the United States on July 22, 2005, by Paramount Pictures. It received positive reviews from critics, with praise directed at the performances (particularly those of Howard and Henson), Brewer's script and direction, and the soundtrack. It was also a commercial success, grossing $23.5 million against a production budget of $2.8 million.
