Diya (actress)
Diya is an actress. Career Diya was born into a Brahmin family in Hyderabad, and her family settled in Chennai when she was two years old. She trained as a dancer through lessons at the Kalakshetra Foundation, while also completing a bachelor's degree in psychology, a course in fashion technology, and a postgraduate course in computer science. Her first lead role came through Vishnuvardhan (director), Vishnuvardhan's ''Kurumbu'' (2003), and she subsequently played a similar glamorous role alongside Dhanush in ''Dreams (2004 film), Dreams'' (2004). The actress was married in 2006 and subsequently opted out of the several unreleased projects she had committed to, including ''Seven'', ''Sooravali'' and ''Century Raagam'' and thus ended her acting career. Diya Beeltah is a Mauritian model who was crowned Miss Mauritius 2012. Beeltah was born on 8 August 1988 in Quatre Bornes, Mauritius. Beeltah attended the Baichoo Madhoo Government school and completed her bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Mauritius. She was pursuing her bachelor while making her breakthrough in modeling. Beeltah was the first to represent Mauritius in the Miss Tourism World 2012 Beauty Contest which was held in Thailand. Diya Siddique (born 19 February 2004) is a Bangladeshi archer. On 23 May 2021, she along with Ruman Shana claimed silver medal in the recurve mixed team event during the 2021 Archery World Cup where Bangladesh emerged as runners-up to Netherlands in the final. Despite losing the final 5–1, it was the best performance by Bangladesh at an Archery World Championship. Donaldson Oladipo Diya (born 3 April 1944) is a Nigerian general who served as Chief of the General Staff, (''de facto'' Vice President of Nigeria) under military head of state General Sani Abacha from 1994 until his arrest for treason in 1997.
