Alice Dixson (born Jessie Alice Dixson; ; July 28, 1969) or often misspelled Alice Dixon, is a Filipino American actress, commercial model, and former beauty queen. Biography Born to an American father and a Filipino mother, she was the Philippines' representative for Miss International in 1986 and became a household name in 1987 through a Palmolive soap TV commercial where she sang the phrase ''"I can feel it!"''. After joining a talent contest in ''Eat Bulaga!'' and Binibining Pilipinas, her show business career started with the role of Faye, a fairy princess, who fell in love with an earthling in ''Okay Ka, Fairy Ko!''. Hugh Dixson
Sir Hugh Dixson (29 January 1841 – 11 May 1926) was an Australian business man and philanthropist. Biography Dixson was born in George Street, Sydney, the son of Hugh Dixson and his wife Helen, ''née'' Craig. He was educated at the Elfred House Private School kept by William Timothy Cape at Paddington. At 14 years of age, Dixson went to work at a timber yard for Phillip McMahon. In 1856, he joined the tobacco business founded by his father, and became a partner in it in 1864. In 1866, he married Emma Elizabeth (1844–1922), daughter of William Edward Shaw. The business grew steadily and, after his father's death in 1880, expanded rapidly under the management of Hugh Dixson and his brother Robert Dixson. It was subsequently merged in the British-Australasian Tobacco Company Proprietary Limited, probably the largest business of its kind in Australia at the time. Sir Hugh Robert Denison, originally Hugh Robert Dixson (11 November 1865 – 25 November 1940) was a businessman, parliamentarian and philanthropist in South Australia and later New South Wales. He was a member of the South Australian House of Assembly from 1901 to 1905, representing North Adelaide (1901-1902) and Adelaide (1902-1905). Outside of politics, he was involved in his family's tobacco business, a forerunner of the British-Australasian Tobacco Company, was involved with a number of newspapers, and founded the Macquarie Broadcasting Services Pty Ltd radio network. Robert James Dixson (May 23, 1908 – February 1, 1963) was an American writer who simplified and adapted some classic works of literature, that were later published in their new version, and wrote a number of books about the English language, especially crafted for the foreign born. He lived in New York City and moved to Florida in the early 1950s. He died while living in Coral Gables in 1963. He authored English language books by himself but also collaborated with others. Thomas Dixson (also Thomas Dickson, c. May 3, 1733 – November 8, 1809) was a British colonial militiaman and politician serving in Canada. Early life The year and location of Thomas Dixson's birth is not clear. As a young child, the Dixsons moved to Norwich, Connecticut. French and Indian War During the French and Indian War, Dixson moved to Fort Cumberland, Nova Scotia, soon after, and served as a militiaman in the capture of Fort Beauséjour in 1755.
