Conny Schmalfuss (born October 29, 1975 in Schwedt, Brandenburg) is a female diver from Germany, who won her first international medal (a bronze) at the 1991 European Championships in Athens, Greece in the women's 1 m springboard. Li Ting (; born April 1, 1987 in Lingui, Guilin, Guangxi) is a female diver from the People's Republic of China. She is a member of the Dong Chinese ethnic minority. Li started training in 1993 the second Chengguan primary school. She joined Guangxi Divers' School in 1994, and became a member of the provincial squad a year later. She was selected for the Chinese national squad in 1999. Partnered by her twin sister Li Rao (李嬈) in the 9th annual Chinese national championships, she obtained the bronze medal for synchronised diving from a 10m platform. Loudy Wiggins (née Tourky) (born 7 July 1979) is a former Australian diver. She was born in Haifa, Israel to Palestinian parents, but moved to Australia when she was 3 years old. Wiggins was a gymnast at the Australian Institute of Sport, then began diving when she was 12 on suggestion from her physiotherapist. Wiggins competed at her first Olympic Games for Diving when she was 17 years old at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. She won bronze in the 10m synchronised platform event at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, becoming the first Australian to win an Olympic medal in diving since Dick Eve in 1924 (with Rebecca Gilmore). Laura Ann Wilkinson (born November 17, 1977, in Houston, Texas) is an American diver, 3 time Olympian, and Olympic gold medalist. She is the first woman to win the three major diving world titles. Wilkinson retired in 2008. After nine years of retirement, she returned to competition in 2017 and placed 2nd at Nationals. She trained for her fourth Olympic Games (2021) at Texas A&M University's swimming and diving facilities but did not qualify. Tania Cagnotto (; born 15 May 1985) is an Italian diver. She is the first female Italian diver to win a medal in a World Championship. A five-time Olympian, she won medals in both individual and synchronized springboard diving in her final appearance at the Olympics in 2016. She is also a 20-time champion at the European level. Guo Jingjing (; born October 15, 1981, in Baoding, Hebei) is a retired Chinese female diver, and multi-time Olympic gold medalist and world champion. Guo is tied with her partner Wu Minxia for winning the most Olympic medals (6) of any female diver and she won the 3m springboard event at five consecutive World Championships. She announced her retirement in 2011. Career She took up diving when she was six years old at the Baoding Training Base. Wu Minxia (; born 10 November 1985) is a retired Chinese Diving (sport), diver, specializing in the 1 metre and 3 metre springboard, and synchronized 3 metre springboard events. Entering her first major championship in 2001, Wu represented China at every Asian Games, Olympic Games and FINA World Aquatics Championships through 2016. She is an eight-time world champion, and a five-time Olympic and Asian champion, making her one of the most decorated divers in history.
