Dito (footballer)
Eduardo José Gomes Cameselle Mendez (18 January 1962 – 3 September 2020), known as Dito, was a Portuguese football central defender and manager. Playing career Club Dito was born in Barcelos. He appeared in 358 Primeira Liga matches over 16 professional seasons, starting his career with S.C. Braga for which he was already an important first-team member at the age of 18, and signing for S.L. Benfica in 1986 after six years in Minho. In his two-season spell with Benfica, Dito played 27 league games in his first year as the Lisbon club won the double, then partnered Carlos Mozer in the second (no silverware won). He then moved to rivals and title holders FC Porto for one season, with Benfica regaining their domestic supremacy at the expense of precisely the northerners. Dito Godwin (1955–2021) was an American record producer and executive, best known for his production works with Mötley Crüe, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley of Kiss, Great White, and more recently No Doubt, Kevin Carlberg, The Stick People and Kristy Lee Cook of ''American Idol''. Biography Godwin started his career in New York as a musician touring with names like Black Sabbath before turning to the administrative and production roles he has worked in for over 25 years in the industry. He has also taught at UCLA, University of Sound Arts, LACC, Southern Oregon University, and guest spoken at NXNW, SXSW, LAMP and many other music conventions nationwide. Dito Montiel
Orlandito Montiel is an American author, filmmaker, and musician. Early Career & Music Born in New York City, Montiel was active in the early '80s New York hardcore punk scene when he was vocalist for Queens-based Major Conflict. Later, he would gain notoriety in 1989 when Geffen Records signed his newly formed outfit Gutterboy to a $1 million record deal, an unheard-of sum at the time. The band was dropped after its debut and was dubbed one of the most "successful" unsuccessful bands in rock history. In 2003, Montiel published ''A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints'', a memoir detailing his life growing up in Astoria, Queens in the early 1980s during the rise of the hardcore punk scene. The book describes his time spent touring with his band Gutterboy and his brief modeling career with Versace along with other personal anecdotes. Dimit'ri "Dito" Ivanovich Shanidze (8 February 1937 – 18 November 2010) was a Soviet Union, Soviet weightlifter. He competed and won a silver medal in the men's featherweight for both the 1968 Summer Olympics and the 1972 Summer Olympics. He was born in Derchi, Imereti, Georgia. He was also the world champion in 1972 and 1973, a silver medallist in 1968 and 1972, and a bronze medallist in 1969. He was the European champion in 1973, a silver medallist in 1968, 1969, and 1971, and a bronze medallist in 1974. He died in Tbilisi on 18 November 2010. Dito Tsintsadze ( ka, დიტო ცინცაძე; born 2 March 1957) is a Georgian film director and screenwriter. He has directed thirteen films since 1988. His film '' Lost Killers'' was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival. In 2007 he was a member of the jury at the 29th Moscow International Film Festival. Starting from the year 1996 he lives and works in Berlin. Biography From 1975 to 1981 he studied film directing at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University under Eldar Shengelaia and Otar Iosseliani. Until 1989 he worked as an assistant director in the Kartuli Pilmi film studio. In 1990 he made his first feature film ''Guests'', then worked for the private film production company Shvidkatsa.
