Disney Skyliner
The Disney Skyliner is a gondola lift system at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida. It opened on , with five stations located at resorts and theme parks. Each gondola cabin can hold up to ten guests, or up to six if there is a wheelchair or electric scooter. Guests sit on twin, inward-facing, wooden benches. Strollers and smaller are able to roll directly into the gondola and do not have to be folded. Predecessors Not long after the opening of Disneyland in 1955, a similar gondola system called the Skyway debuted, connecting Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. When Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort was opened, the same gondola system was implemented – as well as at Tokyo Disneyland when it opened to the public in 1983. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a resort located within the Walt Disney World Resort. It is located in the Epcot Resort Area of Walt Disney World, close to the waterpark Typhoon Lagoon and is classified as a moderately priced resort. The resort started operating on October 1, 1988 and is owned and operated by Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. Resort description The Caribbean Beach Resort is designed with a Caribbean theme. Guests stay in one of the small buildings that encircle ''Barefoot Bay'', a lake. Buildings are grouped into one of five villages, with shared resources, each named after an island in the Caribbean: Martinique, Barbados, Jamaica, Aruba, and Trinidad. Fantasyland
Fantasyland is one of the "themed lands" at all of the Magic Kingdom-style parks run by The Walt Disney Company around the world. It is themed after Disney's animated fairy tale films. Each Fantasyland has a castle, as well as several gentle rides themed after those Disney films. Disneyland History and environs Fantasyland is one of the original themed lands at Disneyland. Carpooling (also car-sharing, ride-sharing and lift-sharing) is the sharing of car journeys so that more than one person travels in a car, and prevents the need for others to have to drive to a location themselves. A bird's-eye view is an elevated view of an object or location from a very steep viewing angle, creating a perspective as if the observer were a bird in flight looking downwards. Reedy Creek Improvement District
The Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID) is the governing jurisdiction and special taxing district for the land of Walt Disney World Resort. It includes within the outer limits of Orange and Osceola counties in Florida. It acts with the same authority and responsibility as a county government. It includes the cities of Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, and unincorporated RCID land. The district was created in 1967 after the Florida Government passed the Reedy Creek Improvement Act.
