Disco King (film)
''Disco King'' is a 1984 Telugu-language dance film directed by Tatineni Prasad. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Tulasi, with music composed by Chakravarthy. It is a remake of the Hindi film '' Disco Dancer'' (1982). The film was released on 7 June 1984. Plot The film begins with a cute little busker, Balakrishna, staging wonderful music with his mentor, Venkatesh. Once, his tune allures a girl named Thulasi as she is inquisitive, and he walks in. Witnessing it, her elitist millionaire father, Jagannatham, smacks and incriminates him. Hence, he leaves the town with his mother, Sita, owing to mortification. Years roll by; Sudhakar, a renowned disco dancer, is the son of Jagannatham, who is spoiled and supercilious. Nutan Prasad, his manager, is constantly demeaned, so he defies supersede him with emergent. Forthwith, Nutan Prasad stretches out his hunt, which ends by flashing Balakrishna. Nandamuri Balakrishna
Nandamuri Balakrishna (born 10 June 1960), simply known as Balakrishna or Balayya or NBK, is an Indian actor, producer and politician. He appeared in more than 100 Telugu cinema, Telugu films over forty years in a variety of roles and established himself as one of the leading actors of Telugu cinema. He won three Nandi Awards and one South Indian International Movie Awards, South Indian International Movie Award. He is an elected member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Hindupur (Assembly constituency), Hindupuram constituency since 2014. Mikkilineni Radhakrishna Murthy (7 July 1914 - 23 February 2011) was an Indian actor and thespian known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He was the founder of the theater group ''Praja Natya Mandali''. He has received the honorary ''Kalaprapoorna'' from Andhra University, for his contributions towards Telugu theater and cinema. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. His career in the Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. He was highly admired and cherished for his deep and thoughtful lyrics in Telugu songs. Early life Veturi was born to Chandrasekhar Sastry and Kamalamba in Pedakallepalli, near Challapalli, Krishna into a Telugu Brahmin family.
