Dirk Reinhard Adelbert Van Langen
Major-general Dirk Reinhard Adelbert van Langen (Magelang, May 17, 1898 – Doorn, January 20, 1983) was a member of the Chief of Staff of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army the Territorial Commander of East-Java and commander of the T brigade during the Indonesian War of Independence of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army in the Dutch East Indies, from 1946 to 1949, during the Indonesian National Revolution. History After attending the Royal Military Academy in Breda Langen was promoted from cadet - ensign there to cadet sergeant in October 1918. In July 1919 he was promoted to second - lieutenant and departed on September 13 to the Dutch East Indies. Magelang
Magelang () is one of six cities in Central Java that are administratively independent of the regencies in which they lie geographically. Each of these cities is governed by a mayor rather than a ''bupati''. Magelang city covers an area of 18.12 km2 and has a population of 118,227 at the 2010 census and 121,526 at the 2020 census. Jatinegara (originally known as Meester Cornelis or Meester for short) is one of the districts (''Kecamatan'') of East Jakarta, Indonesia. The name also refers to the larger, historic area of the colonial town of Meester Cornelis. Established in the 17th century, Jatinegara is one of the oldest areas in Jakarta, and contains a number of buildings from the colonial period. Neu! (; German for "New!"; styled in block capitals) were a West German krautrock band formed in Düsseldorf in 1971 by Klaus Dinger and Michael Rother following their departure from Kraftwerk. The group's albums were produced by Conny Plank, who has been regarded as the group's "hidden member". They released three albums in their initial incarnation—''Neu!''
