Directo A La Luz
''Directo A La Luz'' ( en: "Straight To The Light/Live To The Light") is the first live album by the Spanish power metal band WarCry, recorded in Madrid, Spain on November 5, 2005 in the music hall "Divino Aqualung" to a crowd of over 2,500 people. In the concert WarCry played various songs from every album released to that point. It was released on February 27, 2006 (see 2006 in music) in digipak format DVD- CD. The CD format only contained a selection of the band's most successful songs played on the concert. Around those days, WarCry was the only one band to perform a sold-out concert, where even Steve Vai, who participated before couldn't make it. On February 25, 2006 just 2 days before its release, ''Directo A La Luz'' was awarded as the year's best national concert, on the ''AMAS'' awards first edition. WarCry (band)
WarCry is a Spanish power metal band led by founder, singer, and songwriter Víctor García. Formed in 2001 when García and drummer Alberto Ardines were ejected from Avalanch, the band has since released seven studio albums and two live albums, with an eighth studio album currently in progress. WarCry has had a fluctuating lineup with García as the sole constant member. The band has been acclaimed as one of Spain's most famous heavy metal acts and has won numerous awards in both Spain and Latin America. Pablo García (musician)
Pablo García Fernández (born December 26, 1976 in Oviedo, Spain) is a guitarist, for the power metal band WarCry. Career Pablo's first contact with a guitar emerges at the age of 16, in the summer of 1993, on a self-taught, and decides to dedicate most of his time to that instrument. Leading him to form his first band with some friends. When everything becomes a little bit more serious he joins WarCry in 1996. Later he would become part of another local band Presto recording an EP "''Disciples Of Fear''" covering some Yngwie Malmsteen's songs in the salon ''Quatro De Avilés''. During that time he attends to the Instituto de Música y Tecnología (IMT) in Madrid in the month of July where they mainly studied harmony. Víctor García (Spanish Singer)
Víctor García (born 5 June 1970 in Brisbane, Australia) is the lead vocalist and songwriter for the heavy metal band WarCry. He is the central figure and sole original member of WarCry and a former Avalanch lead vocalist, being considered one of the best Spanish metal singers. García has often cited that his biggest and most important influences are Stryper, Manowar, and Virgin Steele.
