''Directions Home (Songs We Love, Songs You Know)'' is the sixteenth album and tenth studio album by Christian group Point of Grace. It was released on April 7, 2015. Critical reception Awarding the album three and a half stars for ''CCM Magazine'', Andy Argyrakis lauded "the instantly appealingly, earthy nature of this faith-filled nurturing collection." Kevin Davis, giving the album four stars at New Release Today, wrote, "really engaged by the emotional vocals and the prayerful lyrics found in these sacred songs." Felicia Abraham, reviewing the album for ''Charisma'', noted that Point of Grace made the album "without conforming to the restraints of any given genre." Point Of Grace
Point of Grace is an all-female contemporary Christian music vocal group. The current trio consists of Shelley Breen, Denise Jones, and Leigh Cappillino. The group started out as a quartet in 1991, with original members Breen and Jones, as well as Terry Jones and Heather Payne. Terry Jones left in November 2003 to spend more time with her family after the birth of her third child, with Cappillino joining in March 2004 for their 2004 release ''I Choose You''. In June 2008, Payne announced her retirement from the group to spend more time with her family. The group's self-titled debut album was released in 1993. Marcus Hummon
Marcus Spencer Hummon (born December 28, 1960) is an American country music artist. He is the father of country singer Levi Hummon. Early life Hummon was born in Washington, D.C.. He graduated from Williams College. Career After several years of playing in various bands, he moved to Nashville where he was signed to a songwriting contract. A record deal with Columbia Records soon followed. His debut album ''All in Good Time'' in 1995 produced a No. 73 single on the Hot Country Songs charts with "God's Country." From 1999-2001, Hummon was a member of the alternative country band The Raphaels along with former Big Country lyricist and guitarist Stuart Adamson. Greg Holden (born 28 February 1983) is a Scottish singer-songwriter based in the United States. He is best known for his hit charity single "The Lost Boy" and for co-writing "Home", the 2012 debut single for ''American Idol''-winner Phillip Phillips. Early life Holden was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and lived in Methlick in Aberdeenshire until he was three. "Home" is the debut single and coronation song from ''American Idol'' season 11 winner Phillip Phillips. The song was co-written by Drew Pearson and Greg Holden, and produced by Drew Pearson. Phillips first performed the song on the season's final performance night on May 22, 2012, and then again on the finale after he was declared the winner. His recording of "Home" was released as a single on May 23, 2012 and included as a track on the compilations ''American Idol Season Finale - Season 11 EP'' and ''Journey to the Finale'' released at the same time. Christy Lynette Nockels (née Hill, born November 17, 1973) is an American singer-songwriter of contemporary Christian music. She was also one of the lead members of the band Watermark, along with her husband, Nathan Nockels. Biography and career Christy Nockels was born in Fort Worth, Texas to a pastor and a piano teacher but grew up in Oklahoma.
