Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev ( ne, दीपेन्द्र वीर विक्रम शाह, 27 June 1971 – 4 June 2001) was the King of Nepal for three days from 1 to 4 June 2001. For the duration of his three day reign he was in a coma after he shot his father, King Birendra, his mother, Queen Aishwarya, his younger brother and sister, and other members of the royal family before turning the gun on himself in an event known as the Nepalese royal massacre. As the eldest of the three children of King Birendra and Queen Aishwarya, Dipendra was the crown prince. Under the Nepalese constitution, the privy council named Dipendra king upon the death of his father. Upon Dipendra's death, his father's brother Gyanendra became king. Dipendra Singh Airee ( ne, दिपेन्द्र सिंह ऐरी; born 24 January 2000) is a Nepalese cricketer. In August 2018, he was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands. Career He made his List A debut for Nepal against Kenya in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 11 March 2017. Prior to his List A debut, he was named in Nepal's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In 2017 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup, he was captain of the Nepal national under-19 cricket team. He scored 88 runs and took 4/39 against India in the group A match and was adjudged man of the match. He scored 88 runs to push the total score to 185/8. Dipendra Jha ( ne, दिपेन्द्र झा) is the first and incumbent chief attorney of Madhesh Province, one of seven provinces of Nepal. He assumed the office in February 2018. He is the legal adviser to the Chief Minister Lalbabu Raut and the Convener of Bill Drafting Facilitation Committee in Madhesh Province. Dipendra Prasad (born 1960) is an Indian mathematician. He is a professor of mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He is a number theorist known for his work in the areas of automorphic representations and the Gan–Gross–Prasad conjecture. He is currently the president of Commission for Developing Countries (CDC) of International Mathematics Union (2018–2022) and of Indian Math Society (2021–2022). Two of his siblings, Gopal Prasad and Shrawan Kumar, are also mathematicians. Education Prasad obtained his bachelor's degree from the St. Xavier's College, Mumbai in 1978 before moving to the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur for a Masters which he completed in 1980.
