Dino Giarrusso
Dino Giarrusso (born 11 September 1974 in Catania) is an Italian television personality and politician. Biography Giarrusso graduated in 1997 in Communication Sciences at the University of Siena; he worked as a journalist, collaborating with ''La Repubblica'' and ''L'Unità'', as well as a television author for local Sicilian newspapers. He also shot various commercials and documentaries, always relating to his homeland, and was assistant director of Ettore Scola, Marco Risi and Ricky Tognazzi. Giarrusso also played some minor roles in Italian TV series. From 2014 to 2018 he worked as a correspondent for the TV program ''Le Iene'', broadcast on Italia 1. The Five Star Movement ( it, Movimento 5 Stelle , M5S) is a political party in Italy. Its leader and president is Giuseppe Conte, Prime Minister of Italy from 2018 until 2021. The M5S was founded on 4 October 2009 by Beppe Grillo, a comedian and blogger, and Gianroberto Casaleggio, a web strategist. From 2014 to 2017, it was a member of the Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy group in the European Parliament, along with the UK Independence Party and minor Eurosceptic parties. In January 2017, M5S members voted in favour of Grillo's proposal to join the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Group but the party was eventually refused, and has since sat as Non-Inscrits in the European Parliament. Ricky Tognazzi
Ricky Tognazzi (born Riccardo Tognazzi; ; 1 May 1955) is an Italian actor and film director. He has appeared in 50 films and television shows since 1963. His film '' The Escort'' was entered into the 1993 Cannes Film Festival. In 1991, he won the Silver Bear for Best Director at the 41st Berlin International Film Festival for his film ''Ultra''. Five years later, his film '' Strangled Lives'' won the Alfred Bauer Prize at the 46th Berlin International Film Festival. He is the son of film actor and director Ugo Tognazzi and the half-brother of actor Gianmarco Tognazzi and film director Maria Sole Tognazzi. In 2016, he appeared as an out-of touch variety show host in the music video for "''Tutti Frutti''" by English rock band New Order. The program ''Le Iene'' is a television program broadcast on the Italian channel Italia 1. Beginning in 1997, it is a comedy/satirical show, with sketches and reports into political affairs and consumer issues. ''Le Iene'' is based on an Argentine show ''Caiga Quien Caiga''. Marco Risi
Marco Risi (born 4 June 1951) is an Italian film director, screenwriter, film producer and cinematographer. Born in Milan, he is son of director Dino Risi. After graduating from Liceo Scientifico, Risi joined the faculty of philosophy, but abandoned his studies after two years. He began his career as an assistant of his uncle, Nelo Risi, for ''A Season in Hell'' (1971) and thereafter for directors such as Duccio Tessari, Steno, Alberto Sordi. Ettore Scola
Ettore Scola (; 10 May 1931 – 19 January 2016) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. He received a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film in 1978 for his film ''A Special Day'' and over the course of his film career was nominated for five Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. Life and career Scola was born in Trevico, Avellino, Campania. From age 15, he became a ghostwriter. He entered the film industry as a screenwriter in 1953, and collaborated with director Dino Risi and fellow writer Ruggero Maccari on the screenplay for Risi's feature, ''Il Sorpasso'' (1962). He directed his first film, ''Let's Talk About Women'', in 1964.
