Fiel Dino M. Daa (born February 20, 1984) is a Filipino professional basketball player who last played for the Basilan Steel of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). The younger brother of Sta. Lucia Realtors' Dennis Daa, he played collegiately for the Letran Knights from 2006 to 2008, and is an undrafted player in the 2009 PBA Draft. The Philippine Basketball League (PBL) was a commercial semi-professional basketball league in the Philippines. The league was composed of several commercial teams with several collegiate and provincial stars. History The PBL was formed on May 6, 1983, a brainchild of San Miguel Corporation chairman Danding Cojuangco, under its original name the Philippine Amateur Basketball League (PABL). It was the successor of the defunct Manila Industrial and Commercial Athletic Association (MICAA), which folded during the early-1980s. During the inaugural PABL tournament, 37 teams divided into four divisions from collegiate and commercial ranks participated in the tournament that was played in the historic Rizal Memorial Coliseum. The Letran Knights are the collegiate varsity teams representing Colegio de San Juan de Letran in the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
