A party is a gathering of people who have been invited by a host for the purposes of socializing, conversation, recreation, or as part of a festival or other commemoration or celebration of a special occasion. A party will often feature food and beverages, and often conversation, music, dancing, or other forms of entertainment. '' The IT Crowd'' is a Channel 4 British sitcom which is set in London. It was written and directed by Graham Linehan. It stars Richard Ayoade, Chris O'Dowd and Katherine Parkinson as the information technology staff of an office. Special (2013) In October 2011, Graham Linehan stated that a one-off special would air to end the series. Lisa Cholodenko (born June 5, 1964) is an American screenwriter and director. Cholodenko wrote and directed the films ''High Art'' (1998), ''Laurel Canyon (film), Laurel Canyon'' (2002), and ''The Kids Are All Right (film), The Kids Are All Right'' (2010). She has also directed television, including the miniseries ''Olive Kitteridge (miniseries), Olive Kitteridge'' (2014) and ''Unbelievable (miniseries), Unbelievable'' (2019).
