''Dinner Is Served'' (german: Diener lassen bitten) is a 1936 German comedy film directed by Hans H. Zerlett and starring Herbert Hübner, Gertrud de Lalsky, and Hertha Guthmar. The film is a comedy set around the British aristocracy. The film's sets were designed by the art director Karl Machus Karl Machus (1884–1944) was a German art director. Hansi Arnstaedt
Hansi Arnstaedt (8 December 1878 – 8 May 1945) was a German film actress. Her role subject was that of the frisky and naive, later she was seen in character roles. In 1913, she was given the role of the title character in Franz Porten's three-part film biography about Queen Luise. After that, she did not appear in films again until 1930. Mostly she was now a supporting actress, sometimes, as in 1940 in Lauter Liebe as the mother of Hertha Feiler, she took on larger roles. She was on the Gottbegnadeten list of the Reich Ministry for Popular Enlightenment and Propaganda in 1944. Fred Becker
Fred H. Becker (November 6, 1895 – July 18, 1918) was a college football player for the University of Iowa. He was a first team All-American in 1916, the first Hawkeye in any sport to earn first team All-American honors. He died at age 22 fighting in World War I. Playing career Fred Becker graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1914. From there, Becker went on to play football for the University of Iowa. In his only season as a sophomore in 1916, Becker was a standout on the Iowa squad. In Iowa's 19-16 victory over Iowa State, he became the first known Hawkeye to block two opposing punts. Walter Eckersall of the Chicago Tribune named Becker a first team All-American. He was the first Hawkeye in any sport to achieve such a high honor. Eckersall wrote, "No matter where he was placed, his work was a feature. He was strong and powerful and quick to size up the attack of his opponents. Rose Luise Maria Stradner (July 31, 1913 – September 27, 1958) was an Austrian stage and film actress, who starred opposite Edward G. Robinson, James Stewart, Gregory Peck, and other leading men of her era. She was married to the film director Joseph L. Mankiewicz. Life and career Stradner was born in Vienna, Austria on July 31, 1913. While still an infant, she moved with her parents to Trieste and Isonzo, where her father was stationed as an engineer in charge of troop transportation during World War I.
