Dink, Plovdiv Province
Dink ( bg, Динк) is a village in Southern Bulgaria, Maritsa Municipality, Plovdiv Province. As of 15th of June 2020, the village has a population count of 909. Geography Dink is located in the Upper Thracian Plain, 16 kilometers southeast of Plovdiv, at an elevation between 100 and 199 meters above sea level. The village has a land area of 588,3 ha and has a bus line that reaches Plovdiv. History During the years of Ottoman rule in Bulgaria, in Dink there were several Armenian Farms, built around 1850. There was a farm near the river, named "Dinkata", hence later the name of the village became "Dink". Infrastructure There is a church in Dink, named "Uspenie Bogorodichno". It was destroyed in the 1928 Chirpan–Plovdiv earthquakes. Later it was rebuilt. The first school in the village was established in 1905 in a private edifice. Drop Shot
A drop shot is a shot in some racket sports in which the ball (or birdie) is hit relatively softly, sometimes with topspin or backspin, so that it lands just over and close to the net. A well-placed and well-timed drop shot will make it difficult for the opposing player to hit an aggressive or offensive shot in return. The most successful drop shots will not allow the opponent to hit the ball back at all. Tennis A good drop shot requires great touch. The ball should bounce low and near the net, sometimes with ''underspin'' (or ''backspin''). Backspin slows the ball and decreases the height of its bounce. In some extreme cases, the ball will bounce back towards the net. Sidespin may also be put on the ball so it kicks sideways when it bounces. Footvolley ( pt, Futevôlei in Brazil, ''Futevólei'' in Portugal) is a sport which combines aspects of beach volleyball and association football. Footvolley was created by Octavio de Moraes in 1965 in Brazil. Footvolley combines field rules that are based on those of beach volleyball with ball-touch rules taken from association football. "DINK" is an acronym that stands for "double income, no kids" or "dual income, no kids". It describes a couple without children living together while both partners are receiving an income; because both of their wages are coming into the same household, they are free to live more comfortably than couples who live together and spend their money on raising their children. Claude Giroux (wrestler)
Claude Giroux (born July 13, 1956) is a Canadian-born midget wrestler whose career spans over 20 years. He is still active in the Canadian Independent circuit. Giroux's biggest exposure came when he performed as Doink the Clown's sidekick Dink in the World Wrestling Federation between 1993 and 1995. Outside of his stint as Dink the Clown, Giroux also performed in the WWF as Tiger Jackson in the 1980s and as The Macho Midget in the 1990s. Tiger Jackson Giroux made his debut in the late 1970s after being trained by Little Brutus and Hall of Famer Sky Low Low under the name "Tiger Jackson".
