Dingaan Thobela
Dingaan Bongane Thobela (born 24 September 1966), is a South African former professional boxer who competed between 1990 and 2006. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBO lightweight title from 1990 to 1992, the WBA lightweight in 1993, and the WBC super-middleweight title in 2000. Professional career After compiling an amateur record of 80–3, Thobela, known as "The Rose of Soweto", turned pro in 1986 and won the WBO Lightweight Title in 1990 after beating Mauricio Aceves. After defending the belt three times, he relinquished the title and then challenged WBA Lightweight Title holder Tony Lopez in 1993, but lost a hotly disputed decision. Later that year he rematched Lopez, and won a decision to win the title. Battling to make the weight, he lost the title in his first defense to Orzubek Nazarov, and lost a rematch to Nazarov in 1994. Glenn Catley
Glenn Catley (born 15 March 1972) is a British retired professional boxer and former WBC super-middleweight World Champion. Biography Catley was born in Frampton Cotterell, south Gloucestershire, England. Known as "Catman", he turned pro in 1993 as a Middleweight and Won 21 of his first 22 fights (including a victory over Kirkland Laing), and won the WBC International Middleweight Title against George Bocco. However, he then surprisingly lost this title to Hungarian Andras Galfi by TKO. Catley came back from this unexpected setback and won the British Middleweight Title with a KO over world rated Neville Brown. He then moved up to Super Middleweight and challenged WBC World Super Middleweight Title holder Richie Woodhall in 1998, but lost a majority decision in an all British battle. Cornelius Carr (born John Thomas Carr; 9 April 1969) is an English former professional boxer. He challenged once for the WBO world super middleweight title in 1995. Éric Lucas (born May 29, 1971) is a Canadian former professional boxer. Lucas turned pro in 1991 and came up short in his first two title shots, against WBC Light Heavyweight Title holder Fabrice Tiozzo in 1996 and IBF Super Middleweight Title holder Roy Jones Jr. later that year. He lost the fight to Jones after Jones had played a basketball game earlier that day. Lucas won the WBC title from Briton Glenn Catley in 2001. He defended it three times before losing a controversial split decision to Markus Beyer in Germany in April 2003.
