Dinesh Singh (nickname Babu) is an Indian politician from Punjab and a member of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP). He is a former MLA from Sujanpur & Ex Deputy Speaker of Punjab Legislative Assembly. Early life Singh was born on 17 June 1962. His father's name is Bhim Singh. Political career Singh was General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (Pathankot). Pathankot is a city and the district headquarters of the Pathankot district in Punjab, India. Pathankot is the 6th most populous city of Punjab, after Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala and Bathinda. Its local government is a municipal corporation. The Punjab Legislative Assembly or the Punjab Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral legislature of the state of Punjab in India. The Sixteenth Punjab Legislative Assembly was constituted in March 2022. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) () is a right-wing all India student organisation affiliated to the Hindu nationalist organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
