Sharifa Dina bint Abdul-Hamid ( ar, دينا بنت عبد الحميد; 15 December 1929 – 21 August 2019) was a Hashemite princess and the Queen of Jordan from 1955 until 1957 as the first wife of King Hussein. She was the mother to Hussein's oldest child, Princess Alia bint Hussein. She and the king were married from 1955 to 1957, and in 1970 she married a high-ranking official in the PLO. She was a graduate of the University of Cambridge and a lecturer in English literature at Cairo University. Dina Ellermann (née Dina Radha'a; born 20 December 1980) is an Estonian dressage rider. She competed at the 2014 World Equestrian Games, and at three European Dressage Championships (in 2015, 2017 and 2019). Dina Ali Lasloom ( ar, دينا علي السلوم; born 29 March 1993) is a Saudi woman who attempted to seek asylum in Australia to escape Saudi guardianship laws, but was forcibly repatriated to Saudi Arabia from the Philippines. She was stopped in transit at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila on 10 April 2017 and sent back to Saudi Arabia on 11 April 2017. Dina Dreyfus (French: ʁɛˈfys, also known as Dina Levi-Strauss (French: evi stʁos 1 February 1911, Milan – 25 February 1999, Paris), was a French ethnologist, anthropologist, sociologist, and philosopher, who conducted cultural research in South America.
