Dimitris Kompodietas
Dimitrios "Dimitris" Kompodietas (alternate spelling: Kobodietas) ( el, Δημήτρης Κομποδιέτας; born April 26, 1985) is a Greek professional basketball player for Palaio Faliro B.C. of the Greek B Basket League. He is a 1.96 m (6'5") tall shooting guard-small forward. Professional career Kompodietas began playing basketball with the junior teams of Ano Liosia. He began his pro career with Doukas, in the Greek 2nd Division, during the 2003–04 season. He moved back to Ano Liosia for the 2004–05 season. He then moved to Alimos, where he again played in the Greek 2nd Division, during the 2005–06 season. He then joined Ilysiakos, where he played again in the Greek 2nd Division, for the next two seasons. He next moved to the 2nd-tier EuroCup team Panellinios. World Military Basketball Championship is a championship annually held in the beginning of summer between men and women serving in the military from around the world. 2009 Preliminary round The 2009 championship was held in Klaipėda, Lithuania. Ten nations participated in this event in Taikos 61 Sports Center in Klaipėda, Lithuania. The arrival of the teams occurred on June 6, 2009. The nations were divided into two groups of five. The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by HEBA ( el, ΕΣΑΚΕ, link=no), under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.). It is the highest-tier level of the Greek league system.
