Mousiaris died in a car accident in Thiva on 6 September 1979, along with his teammate Dimitrios Koukoulitsios. He was only 20. Giannis Valaoras ( el, Γιάννης Bαλαώρας; born 23 May 1958) is a Greek former footballer who played as a forward during the 1980s and early 1990s. He played for Larissa and Trikala F.C. He captained the team on various occasions, and celebrated both the Greek Championship and the Greek Cup during his time at Larissa. Today, he remains a fan favorite. Valaoras also made 4 appearances for the Greece national football team. Dimitris "Mimis" Domazos ( el, Δημήτρης "Μίμης" Δομάζος, born 22 January 1942) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. His nickname was ''"The General"'' ''( el, "Ο Στρατηγός")''. Domazos is considered to be one of the best footballers that Greece has ever produced. He was famed for his dribbling ability, his creative playstyle, especially his through balls of pinpoint accuracy and his leadership skills. He was the Panathinaikos captain for over 15 years. The Greece national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team of Greece and is controlled by the Hellenic Football Federation, the governing body for football in Greece. The team competes in the European Under-21 Football Championship, held every two years. The under-21 competition rules insist that players must be 21 or under at the start of a two-year competition, so technically it is up to an U-23 competition. To be eligible for the Greece National Team, all the football players must hold Hellenic (Greek) nationality and comply with the provisions of Article 15 of the regulations governing the Application of FIFA Statutes.
