Dimitri Ayoloma
Dimitri Placide Ayoloma – is an Anti-balaka commander from the Central African Republic, active in Ouaka and Kémo prefectures. He is responsible for multiple crimes including killing of peacekeeper, looting, arson, assault and kidnapping for ransom. Life He was formerly a member of Central African Armed Forces. In December 2014 he was reportedly Anti-balaka zone commander in Grimari subprefecture under leadership of Patrice-Edouard Ngaïssona. On 22 August 2018 he kidnapped two citizens of Ndjoukou subprefecture including village chief and 45-year old Sévérin. He demanded payment of million CFA francs for release. After receiving 370,000 CFA francs and eight goats he released them after beating them with sticks. On 15 March 2020 his fighters launched attack on Grimari, opening fire on the homes of the mayor and sub-prefect. The Anti-balaka is an alliance of militia groups based in the Central African Republic in the early 21st century said to be composed primarily of Christians. However, some church leaders have contested the claimed exclusively Christian character of such groups. Central African Armed Forces
The Central African Armed Forces (french: Forces armées centrafricaines; FACA) are the armed forces of the Central African Republic and have been barely functional since the outbreak of the civil war in 2012. Today they are among the world's weakest armed forces, dependent on international support to provide security in the country. In recent years the government has struggled to form a unified national army. It consists of the Ground Force (which includes the air service), the gendarmerie, and the National Police. Grimari
Grimari is a city located in the Ouaka prefecture in Central African Republic, approximately away from the capital, Bangui. The politician Abel Goumba was born in Grimari. History On March 1, 1910, Grimari replaced Pouyamba as the capital of the subdivision in the district of Kémo. This subdivision was attached to the constituency of Bambari from the 1st of January1920. In 1930, the African Textile Company set up a ginning factory, this cotton company would become Cotonaf. After World War II, the administrative reform of October 16, 1946, made Grimari a district capital of the Ouaka-Kotto region. On January 23, 1961, the independent Central African Republic established the city of Grimari as the capital of the sub-prefecture. Patrice-Edouard Ngaïssona
Patrice-Edouard Ngaïssona is former minister of sports in the Central African Republic, president of the Central African Football Federation and leader of Anti-balaka, arrested in 2018 for his war crimes. Life Ngaïssona was born in 1967 in Begoua. He was minister of sport under Bozize regime and president of the Central African Football Federation since 2008. In December 2013 he became leader of one of factions of Anti-balaka. In February 2018 he was elected by Executive Committee of the African Football Confederation to represent the Central African Republic. On 12 December 2018 Ngaïssona was arrested in Paris by French authorities for his involvement in war crimes pursuant to an International Criminal Court arrest warrant. Ndjoukou
Ndjoukou is a sub-prefecture of Kémo in the Central African Republic. Geography The locality is located in the municipality of Galabadja on the right bank of Oubangui, south of Sibut. History The February 2, 1895, the spiritual father Joseph Moreau founded the Catholic mission of the ''Holy Family of Banziris'' of Bessou which is with Bangui, one of the two oldest Catholic missions of the country. Civil war On 25 March 2013 Séléka took control of Ndjoukou. They installed their base there and appointed new mayor. They established checkpoints and looted civilians houses. On 6 April Séléka fighters ransacked local hospital. On 10 October they killed two civilians and burnt down at least 16 homes after local hunter injured one of Séléka fighters.
