Rila, Bulgaria
Rila ( bg, Рила, ) is a town in southwestern Bulgaria, the administrative centre of Rila Municipality, in the southeastern part of Kyustendil Province. The town lies in a mountainous region at the foot of the southwestern Rila Mountains, from the Rila Monastery, from Dupnitsa and from Kyustendil. It is situated on the banks of the Rilska River at the entrance of the Rila Monastery Nature Park. In antiquity, the area was inhabited by the Thracians and Romans; it was known as ''Sportela'' and then as ''Roligera''. In the Middle Ages it was part of the Bulgarian Empire. ''With Children at the Seaside'' ( bg, С деца на море, translit=S detsa na more, italic=yes) is a Bulgarian anthology comedy film released in 1972, directed by Dimitar Petrov, starring Georgi Partsalev, Petar Peychev and Ivaylo Dzhambazov. The screenplay is written by Mormarevi Brothers. The movie consists of two separated stories that are bound by the theme about the summer seaside vacation as well as by the character of the plump teenager Pipsi. This is the second film of the " Childhood series" by Mormarevi Brothers, featuring children's characters in the main parts. The first segment is named ''The Dolphin'', starring mostly children led by the witty plump teenager Pipsi (Petar Peychev).
