Dimitar Mirakovski
Dimitar Mirakovski (born May 14, 1981), is a former Macedonian professional basketball player. Pro career Since beginning his professional career in 1999, Mirakovski has spent the majority of his career playing in the Macedonian Premier League. He has also made brief stops in Kosovo with BC Peje, Bulgaria with CSKA Sofia and Greece with Rethymno BC. He is signed with KK Kavadarci of the Macedonian Premier League for the 2009-10 season after spending the 2008-09 season in Greece. Macedonian national team Mirakovski is also a member of the Macedonian national basketball team. Macedonian First League (basketball)
The Macedonian First League ( mk, Македонска прва лига, ''Makedonska prva liga'') is the top-tier basketball competition in the Republic of North Macedonia organized by the Basketball Federation of North Macedonia. Macedonian Republic League was transformed in to top division level Macedonian Basketball First League. After the transformation teams from the higher level federal Leagues (MZT and Rabotnički) joined the Macedonian First League. Teams Feniks 2010 and Angeli were promoted. The 2009 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2009, was the 36th FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe. The tournament, which was hosted by Poland, began on 7 September and concluded with the final on 20 September 2009. The competition served as a qualification tournament for the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey. Spain claimed their first EuroBasket title by routing Serbia 85–63 in the final. Greece captured the bronze medal with a 57–56 victory over Slovenia. Macedonian National Basketball Team
The North Macedonia men's national basketball team ( mk, Кошаркарска репрезентација на Северна Македонија, Košarkarska reprezentacija na Severna Makedonija) represents North Macedonia in international basketball and is controlled by the Basketball Federation of North Macedonia. They joined FIBA in 1993, after they gained independence from Yugoslavia. That same year the national team played their first official match against Estonia. KK EuroNickel 2005 ( mk, КК ЕуроНикел 2005) is a professional basketball club based in Kavadarci, North Macedonia named for the local ferronickel smelter operator EuroNickel. The Kosovo Basketball Superleague ( Albanian: Superliga e Kosovës në Basketboll) and known as the ArtMotion Superliga due to sponsorship reasons is the top men's professional basketball league in Kosovo. Basketball Superleague was founded in 1991. It is run by the Basketball Federation of Kosovo. Prishtina holds the record for most Superleague titles as it has won the championship 14 times.
