The dime, in United States usage, is a ten-cent coin, one tenth of a United States dollar, labeled formally as "one dime". The denomination was first authorized by the Coinage Act of 1792. The dime is the smallest in diameter and is the thinnest of all U.S. coins currently minted for circulation, being in diameter and in thickness. The obverse of the current dime depicts the profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the reverse boasts an olive branch, a torch, and an oak branch, from left to right respectively. Dime Jankulovski ( mk, Диме Јанкуловски; born 18 June 1977) is a Swedish football coach and former professional player who currently is the assistant coach of Västra Frölunda IF. He played as a goalkeeper. Club career Having started his youth years at Rannebergens IF, Jankulovski shortly after moved to join GAIS youth section. Due to financial difficulties for the youth section, he was forced to depart the club and ended up at Lundby IF, where he eventually made his senior team debut. Jankulovski's playing in Lundby attracted the attention of local rival Västra Frölunda IF, and he signed for them prior to the 1998 season, helping them to 5th place in the 1998 season, ending up ahead of local rivals IFK Göteborg. George Albert "Italian Al" Arthur Dimeo (1914 – November 1972) was a Scottish-Italian criminal and enforcer, who operated in Little Italy, London. Early life Born in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire to an Italian father and Scottish mother, he moved to London with his family and grew up in Little Italy, London. He went on to run Soho's nightclubs and bars with Antonio (Babe) Mancini and Pas Papa (Bert Marsh) also being involved in bookmaking and loansharking during the 1940s and 1950s. Criminal career In July 1941 Dimes was convicted with Joseph Collette of attacking Edward Fletcher at a Soho Club in Wardour Street. The Recorder noted that the incident took place "under the shadow of a graver offence. One man had lost his life and another man was under sentence of death." In American football, the dime defense is a defensive alignment that uses six defensive backs. It is usually employed in obvious passing situations. The formation usually consists of six defensive backs, usually two safeties, and four cornerbacks, and has either four down linemen and one linebacker, or three down linemen and two linebackers. This formation is used to prevent the offense from completing a medium- to long-range pass play. This may be because the offense's running game is inefficient, time is an issue, or they need a long pass for a first down. It is also used against teams whose pass-to-run ratio predominantly favors pass. The formation, however, is vulnerable to running plays as the formation is missing two linebackers, or a linebacker and a down lineman.
