Dim Mak (band)
Dim Mak is an American death metal band from New Jersey, United States. The band was formed from the ashes of Ripping Corpse, by guitarist Shaune Kelley, vocalist Scott Ruth, and drummer Brandon Thomas. Thomas left the band sometime after the release of ''Intercepting Fist'' to later join The Dying Light. Ripping Corpse
Ripping Corpse was a death metal band formed in 1987 in Red Bank, New Jersey. History They released one album, ''Dreaming with the Dead'' (1991), and several highly regarded demos. Members included singer Scott Ruth, guitarist Shaune Kelley, bassist David Bizzigotti, and drummer Brandon Thomas. They later added future Morbid Angel guitarist Erik Rutan, who went on to form Hate Eternal. They also replaced Bizzigotti with Scott Hornick. Thomas, Ruth, and Kelley went on to form Dim Mak. Hate Eternal is a death metal band from St. Petersburg, Florida. The band currently consists of founding guitarist/vocalist Erik Rutan and bassist J. J. Hrubovcak. To date, Hate Eternal has released seven studio albums: '' Conquering the Throne'' (1999), '' King of All Kings'' (2002), ''I, Monarch'' (2005), '' Fury & Flames'' (2008), ''Phoenix Amongst the Ashes'' (2011), ''Infernus'' (2015), and ''Upon Desolate Sands'' (2018). Origin (band)
Origin is an American technical death metal band from Topeka, Kansas, founded in 1990 under the monikers Necrotomy and Thee Abomination. They have been recognized by music critics and metal fans alike for combining a harsh sound with a high level of technical skill. Origin's music is characterized by almost exclusive use of several specific, difficult playing techniques: blast beats on the drum kit, multiple death growled vocals, and arpeggios and sweep picking on both the guitars and the bass guitar.
