Dilshat Kidirhan
Dilshat Kidirhan (Kyrgyz: ; ; born January 1966) is a Chinese politician of Kyrgyz ethnicity who is the current governor of Kizilsu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture and vice chairman of the Xinjiang Regional Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in December 1988, and entered the workforce in July 1990. He is a delegate to the 13th National People's Congress. Early life and education Dilshat Kidirhan was born in Tekes County, Xinjiang, January 1966. In September 1984, he was accepted to Xinjiang Normal University, majoring in Chinese language and literature. After graduation, he was admitted to Northwest A&F University, where he majored in agricultural economic management. Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference
The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC, zh, 中国人民政治协商会议), also known as the People's PCC (, ) or simply the PCC (), is a political advisory body in the People's Republic of China and a central part of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s United Front system. Its members advise and put proposals for political and social issues to government bodies. However, the CPPCC is a body without real legislative power. While consultation does take place, it is supervised and directed by the CCP. The body traditionally consists of delegates from the CCP and its front organizations, eight legally-permitted political parties subservient to the CCP, as well as nominally independent members. The Kyrgyz people (also spelled Kyrghyz, Kirgiz, and Kirghiz; ) are a Turkic ethnic group native to Central Asia. Kyrgyzstan is the nation state of the Kyrgyz people and significant diaspora can be found in China, Russia, and Uzbekistan. They speak the Kyrgyz language, the official language of Kyrgyzstan. The earliest Kyrgyz people were the descendants of several central Asian tribes, first emerging in western Mongolia around 201 BC.
