Digital Bath
"Digital Bath" is a song by the American alternative metal band Deftones from their third album, ''White Pony''. It was released as a promotional single. Belching Beaver released a limited edition beer named after the song in 2018. Style "Digital Bath" features a variety of effects and Sampling (music), sampling. The verse is composed of Delay (audio effect), echoed guitar chords and soothing, whispered vocals. The song also features a high vocal pitch from Chino Moreno virtually unheard in other Deftones material. Moreno stated that despite the "prettiness" of the song, it's actually about "electrocuting a girl in a bathtub". Music video A music video for the song was directed by Andrew Bennett. The video features live footage of the band intercut with segments of a woman entering a bathtub and the band performing at a rehearsal space. Deftones
Deftones is an American alternative metal band formed in Sacramento, California in 1988. They were formed by Chino Moreno (vocals, guitar), Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Abe Cunningham (drums), and Dominic Garcia (bass). During their first five years, the band's lineup changed several times, but stabilized in 1993 when Cunningham rejoined after his departure in 1990; by this time, Chi Cheng was bassist. The lineup remained stable for fifteen years, with the exception of keyboardist and turntablist Frank Delgado being added in 1999. The band’s experimental nature has led some critics to describe them as "the Radiohead of metal". Deftones have released nine albums since their inception. ''Soul Survivors'' is a 2001 psychological thriller film starring Melissa Sagemiller as college student Cassie, whose boyfriend Sean (Casey Affleck) dies in a car accident that results from her driving after a night of partying. The Anix is a former American rock band and currently a solo electronic project run by Los Angeles-based music producer Brandon Smith who was originally the band's frontman. ''Kerrang!'' is a British weekly magazine devoted to rock, punk and heavy metal music, currently published by Wasted Talent (the same company that owns electronic music publication ''Mixmag''). It was first published on 6 June 1981 as a one-off supplement in the ''Sounds'' newspaper. Named after the onomatopoeic word that derives from the sound made when playing a power chord on a distorted electric guitar, ''Kerrang!'' was initially devoted to the new wave of British heavy metal and the rise of hard rock acts.
