Dieppe Bay Eagles F.C. is a professional football club based in Dieppe Bay Town that plays in Division 1 of the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association. Warner Park Sporting Complex
Warner Park Sporting Complex is an athletic facility in Basseterre, St. Kitts, St. Kitts and Nevis. It includes the Warner Park Stadium, which was one of the hosts for the 2007 Cricket World Cup. It is named after Thomas Warner (explorer), Sir Thomas Warner, the explorer who established the first English colony on St. Kitts. The eastern segment contains the cricket pitch, pavilion, media centre and seating for 4,000 which can be increased with temporary stands to 10,000 for major events. The stadium was largely financed by Republic of China, Taiwan with donations totalling United States dollar, $2.74 million. Dieppe Bay Town
Dieppe Bay Town is a town in Saint John Capisterre Parish in the island of Saint Kitts, in the country of Saint Kitts and Nevis in the West Indies. Settled in 1538, it is the oldest town founded by Europeans in the whole of the Eastern Caribbean. The original town only survived a few weeks before it was destroyed by the Spanish, but it was re-founded in 1625 by French settlers led by Pierre D'Esnambuc. Dieppe Bay Town is the co-capital of St. John Capisterre Parish along with Saddlers. The SKNFA Premier League, known for sponsorship reasons as the SKNFA National Bank Premier League (previously SKNFA Digicel Super League), is the Saint Kitts top division, created in 1980 and organized by the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association. It currently has 10 participating clubs and the season lasts from September to May. At the Regular Stage, each club plays the others twice (home and away) and the top four teams qualify to Super Four stage. The qualified teams play each other once and the top two teams from Super Four play a 3-legged Championship Play-off to determine the season champion.
