Diego Star
''Diego Star'' is a Canadian drama film, directed by and released in 2013. Set in Lévis, Quebec where a Russian cargo ship has been docked following a serious on-board accident, the film traces the journey of Traoré (Isaka Sawadogo), the ship's Ivorian mechanic, through both his decision to blow the whistle on the crew's neglect of ship maintenance issues and his developing friendship with Fanny (Chloé Bourgeois), the local woman with whom he has been billeted during the ship's time in Lévis. The film premiered in the Bright Future program at the 2013 International Film Festival Rotterdam. Sylvain Corbeil
Sylvain Corbeil is a Canadian film producer. He is known for working with producer Nancy Grant and directors Xavier Dolan, Anne Émond, Maxime Giroux and Denis Côté. Corbeil and Grant lead the Montreal-based company Metafilm. ''The Huffington Post'' credited Corbeil with expertise in Quebec's cinema business, and seeing potential in giving Quebec films international exposure. To that end, he took Mathieu Denis and Simon Lavoie's film ''Laurentie'' to the Berlin Film Festival. The history of cinema in Quebec started on June 27, 1896 when the Frenchman Louis Minier inaugurated the first movie projection in North America in a Montreal theatre room. Marjorie Rhéaume is a Canadian film art director and production designer. She is from Quebec. In 2013, she was the production designer for ''Before My Heart Falls'', with cinematographer Nicolas Bolduc.
