Diego Rodríguez Porcelos
Diego Rodríguez Porcelos (governed 873 – c. 885), was the second List of Castilian counts, Count of Castile, succeeding his father Rodrigo of Castile, Rodrigo. He did not govern Álava, however, as his father had done, since this responsibility fell on Count Vela Jiménez. Between 882 and 884 and under the mandate of King Alfonso III of Asturias, he was in charge of the ''repoblación'' of Burgos and Ubierna. Shortly before 882, he built a castle in Pancorbo from where he confronted a large Arab army trying to annex the valley of the River Ebro, Ebro in two different military campaigns in 882 and 883. He also created a defensive line along the river Arlanzón (river), Arlanzón, and in 884 founded an outpost that would develop into the city of Burgos. It also appears he restored the episcopal see of Oca (ancient ''Auca''). Diego Rodriguez is an American attorney and politician who served as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives for the 27th district from 2019 to 2021. He was elected in 2018 to succeed State Representative Rebecca Rios, who instead ran for the Arizona Senate. Rodriguez graduated from the University of Notre Dame, and eventually relocated to Arizona, where he graduated from the James E. Rogers College of Law and later started his own law firm. Diego Rodríguez Fernández (born 20 April 1960), known simply as Diego, is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a central defender. In a professional career that spanned more than two decades, he played for both Seville clubs, Betis and Sevilla, appearing in a total of 450 La Liga matches. Club career Diego was born in La Orotava, Tenerife. Having started professionally at local CD Tenerife he signed with Real Betis for the 1982–83 season, going on to play nearly 250 official matches and score four La Liga goals. Diego Sebastián Rodríguez Cano (28 May 1988 – 11 September 2010) was a Uruguayan professional footballer who played as a defender. Career Born in Montevideo, Rodríguez played for Nacional and Central Español. Death Rodríguez was seriously injured in a car crash in Montevideo on 9 September 2010, and was admitted to the ICU at Montevideo's La Española hospital. He was one of the most important figures in the scientific field in the colony in the second half of the seventeenth century.
