Diego Odoh Okenyodo
Odoh Diego Okenyodo (born December 2, 1974) is a Nigerian writer, pharmacist, activist poet and journalist, who founded Akweya TV Ltd and Isu Media Ltd. Odoh was one of the founders of Kaduna Writers' League, KWL. He is also one of the Directors of Splendors Of Dawn Poetry Foundation. He co-edited ''Camouflage: Best of contemporary writing from Nigeria'', an anthology of new Nigerian writers. Otukpo
Otukpo is a town in Benue State, Nigeria located in the Middle Belt Region of Nigeria. It is also the eponymous name of a subgroup of the Idoma people. Otukpo is the headquarters of the Otukpo Local Government Area. It was the headquarters of the former Idoma Province, and remains an important town in Idomaland, an area mainly populated by the Idoma speaking people, though with numerous local dialects spoken in the diverse reaches of Idoma land. Otukpo Idoma language is the umbrella lingua. Otukpo is the seat of the Och' Idoma, the Paramount Ruler Idoma of the Idoma Nation. Benue State
Benue State is one of the North Central states in Nigeria with a population of about 4,253,641 in 2006 census. The state was created in 1976 among the 7 states created at that time.The state derives its name from the Benue River which is the second largest river in Nigeria. The Third Generation of Nigeria Writers is an emerging phase of Nigerian literature, in which there is a major shift in both the method of publishing and the Theme (arts), themes explored. This generation is believed to be influenced by the western world, politics and the preceding generation of Mbari Club writers, Flora Nwapa and Buchi Emecheta. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie ( ; born 15 September 1977) is a Nigerian writer whose works include novels, short stories and nonfiction.
