Diego Eli Moreira
Diego Eli Moreira (; born 4 September 1988) is a professional footballer who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for Hong Kong Premier League club Lee Man. Born in Brazil, he plays for the Hong Kong national team. Club career After playing for a number of clubs in Brazil, Diego signed for Tuen Mun of Hong Kong First Division in 2012. In the following season, he signed with fellow Hong Kong First Division club Eastern on a free transfer. On 1 June 2021, after staying at Eastern for 8 years, Diego signed for Lee Man. International career On 22 December 2019, after staying in Hong Kong for seven years, Diego confirmed that he had received his HKSAR passport, making him eligible to represent Hong Kong internationally. Lee Man Football Club () is a Hong Kong professional football (soccer), football club based in Tseung Kwan O, which currently competes in the Hong Kong Premier League. The club is owned by Lee & Man Paper, Lee & Man Chemical. History Lee & Man Paper were the main sponsors and operators of Hong Kong Rangers FC, Rangers during the 2016–17 Hong Kong Premier League, 2016–17 season. The Hong Kong Senior Challenge Shield (), known commonly as the Senior Shield, is the football knockout inter-club competition held in Hong Kong and the fourth oldest football tournament in Asia.
