Dmytro Oleksandrovych Chumak ( uk, Дмитро Олександрович Чумак; born 29 January 1980) is a Ukrainian épée fencer. Career Chumak won a bronze medal at the 2005 European Championships in Zalaegerszeg after being defeated 13–15 in the semi-finals by Poland's Tomasz Motyka. Along with Dmytro Karyuchenko, Maksym Khvorost and Bohdan Nikishyn, he earned the bronze medal in the épée team event of the 2006 World Fencing Championships after beating Hungary in the bronze medal match. Chumak competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. José Luis Abajo Gómez (born 22 June 1978) is a Spanish épée fencer. Abajo won the silver medal in the épée team event at the 2006 World Fencing Championships after losing against France in the final. He accomplished this with his teammates Ignacio Canto, Juan Castañeda and Eduardo Sepulveda Puerto. He won the bronze medal in the Épée competition at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, defeating Hungarian Gábor Boczkó. Being this the first Olympic medal won by Spain in fencing, and becoming the Olympic medal number 100 (99 according to the IOC) in the history of Spain, regarding Winter and Summer Olympics. Krisztián Kulcsár (born 28 June 1971) is a Hungarian fencer, who has won two Olympic silver medals in the team épée competition. He became world champion in 2007. As of 2013, he is deputy chairman of the Hungarian Fencing Federation. Kulcsár has a university degree in Economics and Law. In his private life, he is married with two daughters and one son. Kulcsár was elected President of the Hungarian Olympic Committee (MOB) on 2 May 2017, replacing Zsolt Borkai. The general assembly of MOB withdrew confidence from Kulcsár on 30 December 2021.
