Dictionary (film)
''Dictionary'' is an Indian Bengali-language drama film directed by Bratya Basu and produced by Firdausul Hasan and Prabal Halder. The music is composed by Prabuddha Banerjee. The storyline of the film is based on the story, ''Baba Hoya and Swami Hoya'', by Buddhadeb Guha The film was theatrically released on 12 February 2021. Plot Makar Kanti Chatterjee (Mosharraf) is a semi-educated self-made businessman who tries hard but often fails to communicate in English. On the other hand, his brother-in-law Suman (Arna) gets romantically involved with a woman (Nusrat) married to an introverted forest officer, Ashoke Sanyal (Abir). These two interconnected yet distinct stories form the crux of the film. Bratya Basu
Bratyabrata Basu Roy Chowdhury (born 25 September 1969),Bratya Basu(collected plays), Ananda Publishers, 2004 also known as Bratya Basu, is an Indian actor, stage director, playwright, film director, professor and a politician who is serving as the current Education Minister of West Bengal since 2021. He also assumed the same office in First Mamata Banerjee ministry. Madhuurima Banerjee (born 14 May 1987), also known by her stage name Nyra Banerjee, is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada language films. Following appearances in various television serials, she made her feature film debut in director Srinivasa murthy Nidadavole's Telugu comedy film ''Aa Okkadu'' which was a moderate success, and then went on to act in several successful Telugu films including Vamsi's Saradaga Kasepu in 2010. Poulomi Basu (born October 1983) is an Indian artist, documentary photographer and activist, much of whose work addresses the normalisation of violence against marginalised women.
