Dicle Nur Babat
Dicle Nur Babat (born 15 September 1992 in Kırklareli) is a Turkish volleyball player. She is tall and plays as middle blocker for Fenerbahçe and Turkey women's national volleyball team. Career Dicle Nur Babat began playing volleyball in the feeder team of Eczacıbaşı. After three years, she transferred to the feeder team of Vakıfbank. In the 2011-12 season, she was loaned out to Nilüfer Belediyesi in Bursa. The next season, she signed with Beşiktaş returning to Istanbul again. At the end of the first season, her team was relegated to the Second League after losing the play-off game to Galatasaray. Her contract was extended for one year in the beginning of the 2013-14 season. Following the 2013-14 season, she enjoyed runner-up title at the CEV Women's Challenge Cup with Beşiktaş. Kırklareli
Kırklareli () is a city within Kırklareli Province in the East Thrace, European part of Turkey. Name It is not clearly known when the city was founded, nor under what name. The Byzantine Greeks called it Sarànta Ekklisiès (''Σαράντα Εκκλησιές'', meaning ''forty churches''). In Greek language, modern Greek it is known with the same name, too. In the 14th century this was translated to Turkish language, Turkish and called "''Kırk Kilise''". Following the establishment of the Turkish Republic in 1923, sanjaks became cities and on December 20, 1924, Kırk Kilise's name was changed to ''Kırklareli'', meaning ''The Place of the Forties''. The denomination ''Kırklareli'' was already used years before 1924, for example in the contemporary literature concerning the Balkan Wars of 1912–13. Turkish Women's Volleyball League
The Turkish Women's Volleyball League ( tr, Türkiye Kadınlar Voleybol 1. Ligi) officially called the Sultans League (Turkish: Sultanlar Ligi), is the highest professional women's volleyball league in Turkey. It is run by the Turkish Volleyball Federation and began with the 1984–85 season. 14 clubs are currently participating in the league. It is often regarded as the best professional women's volleyball league in the world. Its clubs have obtained significant successes in European and other international competitions. Eczacıbaşı are the most successful club, having won 16 championships so far. Beşiktaş () is a district and municipality of Istanbul, Turkey, located on the European shore of the Bosphorus strait.
