Dickie Post
Richard M. Post (born September 27, 1945) known as Dickie Post is a former college and professional American football player. A halfback, he played for the American Football League's San Diego Chargers and was the UPI choice for AFL Rookie of the Year in 1967. Post was known as one of pro football's most elusive backs. In 2008, NFL films named him the ninth most elusive runner of all-time. He finished in the top five of AFL rushers for three consecutive years (1967–1969) and won the AFL rushing crown in 1969. Football career Post played his college football for the University of Houston Cougars. He played professionally for the San Diego Chargers of the AFL from 1967 to 1969 and in their first season in the merged National Football League. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The primary roles of a running back are to receive American football plays#Offensive terminology, handoffs from the quarterback to Rush (American football)#Offense, rush the ball, to line up as a receiver to catch the ball, and Blocking (American football), block. Paul Robinson (AFL Player)
Paul Harvey Robinson (born December 19, 1944) is a former professional American football running back for two seasons in the American Football League (AFL) and five seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Early life Robinson was one of 12 children of Leslie Robinson Sr. (1907–1987) and Levada Mallard Robinson (1909–1956), both of Crockett, Texas, who were married in 1926. In 1951, the family moved to Marana, Arizona where Leslie worked as a farm contractor. Paul attended Marana High School, where he played basketball and football, but he especially excelled at track. He graduated from high school in 1963 and attended Eastern Arizona College, a community college in Thatcher, Arizona. He then received a track scholarship to the University of Arizona and ran track for two years for the Wildcats. George Webster (American Football)
George Delano Webster (November 25, 1945 – April 19, 2007) was an American football player. He played professionally as a linebacker in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League with the Houston Oilers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New England Patriots. Webster played college football at Michigan State University. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1987. College career Webster was a defensive back, he is listed as one of the top 100 players (No. 31) at his alma mater, Michigan State University (MSU), where he played from 1964 to 1966. At MSU, he played roverback, a position created by head coach Duffy Daugherty as a combination of safety and linebacker who could run with wide receivers but be strong enough to take on any running back.
