Dora Annie Dickens (16 August 1850 – 14 April 1851) was the infant daughter of English novelist Charles Dickens and his wife Catherine. She was the ninth of their ten children, and the youngest of their three daughters. Alan Dickens (born 2 April 1976 in Knowsley) is a retired rugby union footballer who last played at scrum half for Northampton Saints, having previously represented Saracens, Sale Sharks and Leeds Carnegie after experience in the national leagues with Manchester Rugby Club and Stourbridge R.F.C. Alan William Dickens (born 3 September 1964) is an English former professional footballer who played in the Football League as a midfielder. He played the majority of his football at West Ham United and Chelsea, and later played non-league football. He had a short spell as manager of Barking. He is now assistant manager of the Barking FC under 23s. Career Dickens was born in Plaistow, Essex, and started training with West Ham United at under-11 level. Frank William Huline-Dickens (9 December 1931 – 8 July 2016) was a British cartoonist, best known for his strip "Bristow (cartoon), Bristow", which ran for 51 years in the ''Evening Standard'' and was syndicated internationally.
