Robert Elmer "Bob" Netzley (December 7, 1922 – July 28, 2010) was Ohio's 2nd longest tenured legislator, serving in the Ohio House of Representatives for forty years, retiring in 2000 when he was term-limited. His district consisted of a portion of Miami County, Ohio. He was succeeded by Diana Fessler. The Ohio House of Representatives is the lower house of the Ohio General Assembly, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Ohio; the other house of the bicameral legislature being the Ohio Senate. The House of Representatives first met in Chillicothe on March 3, 1803, under the later superseded state constitution of that year. In 1816, the capital was moved to Columbus, where it is located today. New Carlisle is a city in Clark County, Ohio, Clark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 5,785 at the United States Census 2010, 2010 census. It is part of the Springfield, Ohio Springfield, Ohio metropolitan area, Metropolitan Statistical Area. History New Carlisle was originally called Monroe, and under the latter name was laid out in 1810. The present name is a transfer from Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the birthplace of some of the first settlers. A post office called New Carlisle has been in operation since 1828.
